Sofia Hidalgo, Student Support Specialist
Student Support Services
Sofia is from Arizona and graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Communication and a minor in French. During her time at ASU, she served as the Human Rights Coordinator of the Sustainable Business Association and was president of the French Club. Sofia believes open communication is vital to improving relationships and the communities you serve. She has a passion for traveling, which led her to study abroad in Paris and Seoul and to visit eleven countries, where she has made some of her best friends to date. After graduation and before joining CEA CAPA, Sofia became a health care provider for individuals with disabilities. She enjoys being a lifelong student and maintains her French and Korean through literature and talking with friends. In her free time, she likes to read and listen to audiobooks (often finishing a series in a week), skate, go to the movies with family, and take care of her numerous plants. Through her travels she also developed a love of food, and she is always open to trying new cuisines to expand her palate and knowledge of other cultures.
